We are an R&D center based in Prague and our task is to develop a new generation of equipment for railway traffic control. The topic of modernizing railway lines resonates all over the world and we can offer it modern digitized solutions such as a distributed network of railway control modules, on-board train equipment or a completely new concept of a level crossing. We lead and implement the entire product development cycle – from architectural concepts to final validation and series production. And you can be there!
Main responsibilities:
- Assessing whether the applied processes and developed systems meet customer requirements, CENELEC standards, and the relevant safety level
- Planning, managing, and documenting validation for assigned projects
- Reviewing software/system requirements to ensure they are met (functional and usable in the specified environment)
- Verifying that tests conducted and methods used are appropriate, accurate, and sufficient
- Approving or rejecting the system, or defining conditions under which the system can be used
Requirements:
- University degree in a technical field
- Understanding of the functions and structures of railway equipment, including the ability to interpret block diagrams and software architecture
- Capability to understand and navigate testing environments and tests
- Experience in applying technical standards
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team to achieve common goals
- Analytical and systems thinking, familiarity with product lifecycle processes, attention to detail, and precision in analysis
Advantage if you have extra:
- Knowledge of CENELEC standards in railway signaling technology
- Practical experience in developing safety systems (HW/SW) and quality management systems
- Proficiency in German
