Modern trains are packed with cutting-edge information technology: they use IP networks, digital cameras, wireless access points, video streaming, public announcement systems, passenger counting systems, and much more.
Our team delivers IT systems for railway vehicles, and we are currently looking for a new member to join us. Key Responsibilities
- Organization, coordination, and oversight of testing activities throughout the entire software development lifecycle of the project
- Design, implementation, and management of the testing environment (Test bench)
- Collaboration on the creation and implementation of the testing strategy, including coordination at the project level and with external suppliers
- Verification and validation of project-specific testing requirements, including ensuring the necessary documentation
- Responsibility for achieving the required quality standards, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget
- Close cooperation with specialists from various company departments, such as procurement, production, quality assurance, and sales
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
- Proven experience in project management or test management in the field of R&D or engineering
- Knowledge of system architecture, network, and telecommunication technologies
- Ability to design concepts for the integration of hardware and software components within system testing
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken
Extra advantage for this role is
- Familiar with railway standards and regulations such as EN 50155, UIC 568, TSI PRM
- Experience with product or solution development
- Communicative in German language
