Key responsibilities:
* Planning Engineering activities during the bidding phase and creating a feasible project timeline for all engineering aspects
* Preparing technical proposals for projects based on Mireo, Desiro HC, and Desiro Verve platforms
* Coordinating bid activities within Engineering and leading the bid team
* Developing a comprehensive technical concept for the vehicle in line with customer requirements
* Implementing technical requirements to offer cost-effective and technically optimal solutions
* Ensuring deadlines and processes are met during the bidding phase
* Managing cost estimation processes within Engineering for bid proposals
Requirements:
* University degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering
* Several years of hands-on experience in railway vehicle development
* Experience in project management, preferably in the bid phase
* Strong understanding of conceptual and technical solutions for railway vehicles
* Fluent communication in German, English and Czech
* Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
* Goal-oriented mindset and a proactive approach
* Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, Polarion, and SAP is an advantage
* Systematic and detail-oriented approach with the ability to see the bigger picture
