We invite you to join our "Train Control" department, where we breathe life into our vehicles by crafting control functions in both software and hardware.
This role will take you into the design of the control systems of our vehicles. You will be gradually introduced to the entire development cycle from troubleshooting, testing, and diagnostics, including the system design itself. We participate in the final form of documentation and software for handling sophisticated technology and thereby contribute to increasing the reliability and safety of modern locomotives, and regional and high-speed trains.
You can expect excellent collaboration within international teams, but also space for your own creative work. Especially in the first weeks, we will support you with detailed training.
Main responsibilities:
- SW design of dynamic systems and their architecture
- Programming the functions of the vehicle's subsystems
- Integration and testing of these subsystems into the superior vehicle control
- Module testing
- Close cooperation with other colleagues in electrical integration and other related areas
Key qualifications:
- We prefer a University degree, preferably in electrical engineering
- Experience with creating concepts/design of control systems (algorithmization/logic design)
- English or German for daily communication within our global teams, Czech proficiency
- Experience with SW development according to the V-model will be an advantage for you
