What does your future team look like?

The team consists of about 25 people, from software and hardware developers to system architects. Our goal is to develop a new level crossing system together with specific variants for individual customers. This system fulfils requirements for the highest safety integrity levels SIL 3/4 and cyber security SL3. At the same time, you will become a member of the team of experienced RAMS managers who work with us on similar projects and with whom you will share domain know-how.

Main responsibilities:

  • Safety management process of fail-safe rail automation projects
  • Participate in the preparation of system architecture which fulfills standards EN50126-1/-2, EN50128 and EN50129, especially creation of FTA and FMEA analysis
  • Support of development team regarding functional and technical safety
  • Rating of technical systems from the RAMS perspective
  • Work closely with architects, developers, testers, project manager, …
  • Creation of vital documentation required by standards – safety plan, hazard analysis, technical safety report, safety case

Key qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of experience with RAMS management, mainly in Safety projects
  • Team spirit, analytical and system thinking, real focus on quality
  • Availability to travel approx. 3 weeks per year
  • You can speak English (the meetings, documentation in English)

What would we appreciate if you have extra?

  • Practical experience with R&D projects (system, HW, or SW development)
  • Basics in German language (reading documents)
