You don't need to be a developer; if you have a passion for railways, you're one of us! We have a competence center that globally approves Siemens rolling stock. And let's not forget about the maintenance of the Prague Metro Line C at the Kacerov depot and the maintenance of locomotives at the Vršovice depot – we're also looking for new colleagues here! We work on global projects from the definition of requirements, through the development of SW/HW and mechanics, as well as the solution of cross-cutting issues, at the level of the entire vehicle. By creating energy-efficient, emission-free transport systems, we contribute to achieving goals of the Czech Republic, the EU and of the whole world as well, in the field of energy, climate and the environment. The development projects, in which we are involved, are for example battery or hydrogen-powered vehicles or autonomous driving of our vehicles.

Over 100 technicians are employed in our R&D railway infrastructure center. We implement a complete solution, from defining requirements with the customer through drafting the architecture, development of software, hardware and mechanical development to simulation, verification, validation, type tests and project management. Our products are deployed all over the world, as part of the transition to digital rail transport management systems. Our products are among the world's top and they are setting new trends. Our team consists of experts in the field of development and testing of embedded SW, application SW, HW design, mechanical construction, RAMS, project and quality management.
Do you enjoy the world of IT technology?
Our IT Hub is a team of international experts, who is dealing with the optimization of IT processes and systems. Among the members of the IT Hub, you can find application specialists, SAP specialists, IT security and IT infrastructure.
Are you interested working with the vehicles directly in the depot?
Maintenance is a standard activity after we deliver railway vehicles that we provide to our customers. At Siemens Mobility, we provide complete maintenance and service of trains on metro line C (so-called Full Service).
