Our IT Hub specializes in IT processes for Siemens Mobility globally in the following five areas:
- IT Infrastructure: In our team, we design, create, manage, and improve global collaboration capabilities, data centers, and networking services within Siemens Mobility. We provide over 90 IT services to 40,000 users in 68 countries worldwide. At the core of our services is Service Desk, focusing on Microsoft Office 365 tools and the Public Cloud.
- Analytics & Functions: Mission is to provide integrated and customer-oriented solutions based on IT, business intelligence, and analytics.
- Digital Enterprise: In our team, we enhance the efficiency of our business by delivering creative and flexible solutions. Top priority is the quality and reliability of the services we provide.
- Manufacturing & Logistics: At manufacturing & logistics team, we continuously ensure the highest possible availability of our services for over 15,000 users. We execute processes across the entire value chain, making us a stable support for the entire Mobility IT.
- Sales & Services: The work at this team requires close collaboration with all entities involved in maintenance tasks, continuous improvement processes, and business consultations. The department is divided into two sections: CRN and Sales & Delivery, as well as Services & Contracts.

PIB is providing a revolutionary view on project-related data. Integration of multiple data sources into one comprehensive application enabling faster data-driven decision making, identifying risks before those occur, and significantly reduce time spent on reporting and finding the interconnections (e.g., documents management and requirements management)
Modern DWP @ SMO Program (Running multi-year Business driven program) Global management of 5 projects/initiatives within the Digital WorkPlace program containing with focus on the Mobility Business
DWP M2A (Standard scheduled 1 year centrally driven project)
Initiation and performing of the Provider change whilst switching from on promises/hybrid client to pure cloud solution and coordination of the Mobility IT team with Central Siemens IT project team
"Our IT Hub has been established in mid-2019. Most IT specialists have a base in the German headquarters, howeverm, this team needed to be expanded on a global level, and the headquarters chose Prague. Specifically, Prague has SAP specialists, IT security and infrastructure, and application specialists. At the same time, what we have built here in Prague, has been developed in India. Let´s see how the strategic functioning of these two Hubs will develop in the a future, and how they will complement each other. The teams have a global focus, we provide global support, and we participate in global projects. Therefore Hubs are located in Germany, India, and Prague. The term IT Hub was established in connection with Prague. Sometimes we also talk about the so-called nearshore Prague Hub and the offshore Indian Hub ."
